  • Webgrrls is an international networking organization devoted to supporting women, both professionally and personally, in their use and understanding of computers and digital information technology.
    The Mississauga Chapter undertakes various projects such as building websites for non-profit women-oriented organizations, JR Webgrrls/Big Sisters workshops, Training and mentoring members.
    My involvement with Webgrrls has been on a volunteer basis spanning 3 years of which 2.5 have been as acting Co-Director. During the course of my involvement we have taken the chapter to a 242 member organization which meets monthly at a sponsored location where we hold workshops, presentations and provide an environment conducive to networking amongst professions.
